Hello,

I am looking for a workflow for sharing a mosaic dataset from my Enterprise Geodatabase to ArcGIS Image for Online.

Additionally, I want to share the imagery hosted in AGOL with Enterprise Portal through a distributed collaboration.

Are there any links to documentation or blogs that can walk me through it?

Thanks!

Sounds like ArcGIS Image is a good fit for you. You don't need to publish the MDs, you can simply add them through the web interface in ArcGIS Online if it is easier. Let me know how it works out for you.

Here is a collection of blogs that I have written that may help out some in the process.

Hi Francis,

What you want to use is the Create Hosted Imagery Wizard from ArcGIS Pro. Here is the help documentation on that process.

Create Hosted Imagery Layer

You can use your mosaic dataset as input in this process. What type of imagery layer are you looking to create?

For now, we only have true color drone mosaic images. We are going to start collecting our own multispectral drone imagery and will want to host imagery layers that can toggle between true color and NDVI. We really just need a place to host the final orthomosaics.
