Greetings Imagery and Remote Sensing User Group!
I too attended the Esri User Conference and followed Peter Becker's recommendation to join the user group, so here I am. I work for Pacific Gas and Electric and helped implement an image management platform, or as we like to say, establish a central repository of images, LiDAR, and videos as the company's system of record of sensor data. The platform is the foundation which provides image services that augments existing map services, and our first application leverages the Oriented Image Catalog.
I was quite impressed with the number of imagery and remote sensing products, and my challenge will be to find time to test and decide which product to implement first.
Topics for the community: has anyone implemented STAC and has anyone established a remote sensing data standard.
