Exciting news about the built-in oriented imagery capabilities in ArcGIS. Now you can visualize 360 imagers in ArcGIS Online, so you can explore and understand an area or object of interest from all angles.

In addition to 360 image support, new oriented imagery capabilities allow you to:

-Bring photos from your cell phone or tablet into your GIS using ArcGIS QuickCaputre

-Create a web app to visualize and share oriented imagery with ArcGIS Instant Apps

Be sure to check out a new blog to find out what else is new in oriented imagery.

Are 360 images ONLY supported through oriented imagery?

Hi Derrick! Yes, visualizing 360 images requires oriented imagery.

We are excited to see this functionality made available in OI Layers. 360-degree imagery can be a very powerful visualization tool. We look forward to seeing the other features released and parity reached with OI Classic. Great work everyone!

This is great news. I hope it stays part of the core for desktop and enterprise server without ever requiring extra extensions or "solutions" to unlock core data management functions. I'm a bit salty that FMV tools were paywalled at Pro.

Hello! The plan is to continue the current licensing model for the core oriented imagery management and visualization tools. We want to make it easy and accessible for you to use the oriented imagery data model to manage and visualize imagery!

Is this only for ArcGIS Online? I'm interested in these features in Enterprise Portal.
