FYI, this is an interesting and unique Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS user story. Researchers at the University of Graz, Austria are developing and prototyping a web app called ways2see to help the visually impaired plan routes in the city. Very cool!!

Do you know if their web app has been released to the public? I cannot find its URL by google search.

No, the app is not available to the public. It's still in the development, prototyping phase.
