Trying to calculate geometry in my buildings layer

I am using arc pro 3.1. I have a buildings area layer. In a geodatabase. I am trying to calculate square footage. I have crated new fields, and I keep getting the same error message

Do you possibly have a typo in the feature class name?

Looks at the OS error at the bottom - you're trying to write "Buildings" to a geodatabase (New file Geodatabase.gdb) inside a geodatabase (Fort_Leee....gdb)
