Salary: $68,816.80 - $75,698.48 per year. Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Performs experienced and skilled professional Geospatial analysis and software development to support the needs of multiple County departments. Employees in this class work independently on special projects and may supervise other personnel related to the completion of assigned tasks.
Work location: In person. Not a full-time remote position.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field PLUS three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technology. Additional qualifying education and/or experience may be substituted on a year for year basis. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must have experience with the following:
Experience working with the following is preferred: SQL Server RDBMS Architecture and Maintenance; Monitor Server; ArcSDE and multi-level versioned data; ESRI Spatial Analyst; and Feature Manipulation Engine (FME). In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.
