During the event Applications of GIS for museums, the participants from the Transylvanian Prince's Palace learned about how GIS can be beneficial to museums. The audience also learned about the many real-life applications of GIS and how they can use it for the day-to-day activities. We also discussed about the need of a GIS database for information regarding the research of this historical building. GIS can also be useful for overlaying the archeological and history of art researches on different historical plans from the archives.
