sort field in modelbuilder

Hi,

I have an output table I made with modelbuilder. I want the records to automatically be sorted alphabetically using the values from one of the string fields. what should be the approach?


using arcinfo 9.3.1

I use the frequency or summary statistics tools to sort on one or more fields into a new table.

How does this work with the summary statistics tool? Which statistic type do you use? I have a table with many variables and I want to sort the data based on 3 variables.
