List ID's, in "walking order" along a line

Hello!

I have a line feature and I want to identify the properties that intersect that line AND list the property ID's from start to end. When performing the select by location the results are in no particular order.

If you really want to get into it, I think you're looking for the linear referencing topic of locating a polygon along a route, but it may be overkill:
