Autocomplete polygon not working in a versioned GDB; 10.7.1

Hi 

I am editing a GDB version which has a polygon feature class; once I use the autocomplete polygon tool; its not doing or adding any feature. the same tool is working perfectly outside the versioned geodatabase editing environment? any ideas why is this happening?

I am using the 10.7.1 version
