Hello! I attended AGU 2024 in Washington, D.C., where I learned about the program called the Young Professionals Network (YPN). Although I’ve received numerous emails and promotions about this program in the past, I never fully understood what it was about. At AGU, I discovered the role of a YPN ambassador, which I never knew existed. Learning about this tiered system within the network made me realize how beneficial this program could be for me.
I am a recent graduate currently seeking a job, and I believe networking is vital for a successful job search. I would love to become more involved in the Esri community. In 2023, I attended the regional AAG meeting held at DePaul University, where a representative from Esri gave a talk and mentioned the Esri conference. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance to attend yet, but I would love to participate in the future, especially if an event is held in Chicago someday.
