Hello,
My name is Mariia, and I’m a huge fan of Esri products.
Ever since I was introduced to GIS, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in this field. I started studying GIS during my first undergraduate degree in Geography back in 2018 in Ukraine. After graduating, I decided to move to the U.S. and pursue a Bachelor's degree in Geology with a minor in Environmental Science to broaden my knowledge in Earth sciences.
I’ve been using Esri products extensively in my research and am eager to learn more and expand my skills. Now, with just one semester left before graduating, I’ve been thinking a lot about my future. While pursuing a Master’s degree is my goal, I’m also looking for ways to integrate GIS more into my educational journey.
I’m thrilled to be a part of this community and am excited to connect with others who share the same interest in GIS. If anyone has tips or advice on how I can immerse myself in the world of GIS while still being a student to gain valuable skills and experience, I would greatly appreciate hearing them!
Hope to get to know all of you!
Hi Mariia,
How exciting to pursue a career in something you have so much passion for. Have you considered attending Esri's events to find more GIS connections?
