This course appears to no longer be available: http://training.esri.com/gateway/index.cfm?fa=catalog.webCourseDetail&courseid=1942 . Specifically looking for the ArcMap course, not Pro, as we will not be moving to Pro for quite some time and need for folks to be able to learn how to use the current software.

Hi Thomas,

The "Learning ArcGIS Desktop (for ArcGIS 10.0)" web course was retired January 1, 2018.
https://www.esri.com/training/new-and-retired-training/

There is an introductory tutorial available - Get Started with ArcMap. It's available for free.

Will the full Arc Map course be re-released for the 10.5-10.6 environment? That 10.0 course was very handy for getting some one with almost no GIS skills to handling basic mapping. The 3 hour tutorial doesn't quite achieve that.

ArcMap isn't going to be retired until 2026. I understand Esri wants everyone to switch over to Pro immediately. But that's not realistic, nor is it going to happen.

Esri should still provide online courses for ArcMap until the product is retired.  It's not fair to long-time customers to not have access to those trainings for our users who are still using ArcMap.

It does feel like a slight burn to only have trainings available in ArcGIS Pro, and not ArcMap.

Hi Patrick,

Esri understands that a variety of factors will impact when organizations decide to adopt ArcGIS Pro. Training resources for ArcMap continue to be available and Joanne listed some of those above. This link will always shows the latest list of ArcMap training options: https://www.esri.com/training/Bookmark/PKHRRAUQ8.
