GIS Day is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the power of GIS technology and the impact it has on our world. This year, we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of GIS Day on November 20, 2024

By utilizing the GIS Day and Esri Academy resources below, you can enhance your GIS skills, connect with other professionals, and prepare yourself for the future of spatial data. 1. Explore gisday.com  

  • Find an event near you or register your own 
    • Note that event registrants will receive 5 free ArcGIS for Personal Use licenses. 
  • Browse GIS Day activities for all ages 

 

 

2. Browse the GIS Day 2024 Media Kit 

  • Download social media graphics and share them using the official #GISDay2024 hashtag 
  • Download and print beautiful posters 
  • Find customizable certificates to pass out to event participants

3. Take an Esri Academy course 

 

 

4. Create your own Esri Academy learning plan 

It’s as easy as 1-2-3 

  1. Browse the course catalog and find a resource you like 
  2. Click the “+” button under the course title  
  3. Choose “Add course to a new plan” 

Once your learning plan is created, you can continue selecting the “+” button to add more resources to your plan.
