Hi @SamehMahmoud77, great question. Detailed information on each of these exams can be found in their corresponding Exam Information Guides (click the Download Exam Information button on these two pages: https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/5ba1271946fee07da2714d24/arcgis-desktop-associate-19-001/#core and https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/611c203a6db91a4360495f74/arcgis-pro-associate-2101/#core).

The ArcGIS Pro Associate is our newest certification version, so I would personally recommend you take that exam. Let me know if you have any further questions, and good luck on your certification journey!

Hi again @SamehMahmoud77, good question. The ArcGIS Pro Associate 2101 exam was released in December 2021 and it is our most up-to-date associate-level exam, whereas the ArcGIS Desktop Associate 19-001 was released in March 2019. In our recent exam development cycle, we updated all exams with "Desktop" in the title to now include "ArcGIS Pro" in their exam name, so that's why their names are different. To reiterate, I'd recommend you pursue the ArcGIS Pro Associate 2101 exam. It also has a curated learning plan to help you prepare: https://www.esri.com/training/catalog/61bbd47a77f5d5238027b05b/esri-arcgis-pro-associate-certificati....

@KatieSmith  Thank you for your support and recommendation .

by saying "newest certification" you mean that it's a new version of 19-001 certificate or completely new one and there is different ?  , because i have already read the exams information guides  and both of them depends on ArcGIS Pro as a software and similar topics , so i get confused which one will be my choice.IN addition this is my first certificate.
