BENEFITS:
NEW, ROLE-BASED USER TYPES
The capabilities of ArcGIS have traditionally been accessed through multiple products, apps, extensions, and add-ons—all with varying levels of licensing, pricing, and entitlements. Effective June 2024, Esri updated the user type license model to six (6) role-based user types that provide expanded access to ArcGIS system capabilities, apps, and services.
Different levels of access ensure your team can use ArcGIS to collaborate efficiently. Start by considering who needs to map, analyze, and manage data. Then, empower users to securely contribute to your ArcGIS organization.
