Hello, does anyone have any insight with creating electrical diagrams within the utility network? I understand and know how to produce the diagrams and was wondering if there are any workflows out there with editing the diagram and setting it up similar to traditional straight line diagrams. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi DavidNuhn,

Here's a link to ArcGIS Pro's Network Diagrams reference and Network Diagram Service server extension, respectively.

https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/data/network-diagrams/about-network-diagrams.htm

https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/network-diagram-service.htm

Lastly, here's a blog about the workflow to automate the diagrams

Hope this information helps

Hi @DavidNuhn ,

There is the standard way of creating a network diagram, by highlighting the section in the map and using the create network diagram.

When the diagram opens you can change the template structure i.e. the main tree by clicking an option at the top of the ArcGISpro, this opens a GP tool you can run.

Note: This tool does not work when there is a dirty area present

If you want to use a template you will need access to the portal admin and the UNM database, then use GP tools to configure( add rules and symbology)  and save this to the project for resues.
