I have some Landsat 8 imagery from LandViewer that I'd like to add to a map. Is this possible with the educational online account?

Hi Cassie,

The image would need to be published as a service (i.e. ArcGIS Server services, WMS, Tile Layer, etc).  You would need ArcGIS Server or an ArcGIS Online Organization account to create a service from the GeoTIFF.

Thank you Jake,

I have a ConnetEd account for ArcGIS online. That probably isn’t robust enough, is it?

I'm not familiar with a ConnectEd account.  Do you have a 'My Organization' tab at the top when you sign in.  Ex:

Great, then you have credits and you will be able to create a Tiled Service.  Here is a document you can follow with steps on how to do this:

Great, thank you. If I read this correctly though, wouldn’t I need a desktop version of ArcGIS first?

Yes, you need ArcGIS Desktop to create the service from the GeoTIFF.

Any options for just the online account?

Unfortunately, I don't believe there is.
