At the second 23 in the video below:
You will see "Calculate Solar Radiation Rasters"
I search a lot to find this tool in the Geoprocessing tools but unfortunately I couldn't find it.
Does anyone know how to get this tool please?
Appreciate your helps in advanced.
They are in ArcToolbox. You have a view from within ArcGIS Pro, but they exist in ArcMap and the toolset requires the Spatial Analyst extension. The PRO help topic is here the content is similar for ArcMap, but the dialog that appears for each tool will look different, but they contain the same functionality.
Thanks for the help.
I still could NOT get the option to select SURFACE MODEL as shown in the video at 29 second (Calculate Solar Radiation - YouTube )
Please see all of the options of solar radiation in ArcGIS Pro in this image:
Did you download and configure the "Calculate Solar Radiation" configuration?
The tools you mentioned do not come in-built with ArcGIS Desktop (ArcMap/Pro).
They need to be downloaded from the link I mentioned above. It consists of a toolbox, viz., "AssessSolarRadiation.tbx".
This toolbox needs to be configured to ArcGIS Pro. This toolbox will contain the desired tools you mentioned.
Let me know if the desired tools are not available in the given toolbox. I am unable to test it since I don't have access to ArcGIS Pro now.
Dear Jayanta Poddar
Can you please explain to me what is the purpose from Surface Model in the first task in the link that you provided to me?
I read but I couldn't get it properly.
Appreciate your help.
