Using, Reading and Getting the most out of a API reference site/page - Offered at the Developer Summit 2012/2013 or UC 2012/2013

How does one learn how to take advantage of a API Reference Site/Page.  This has never beeen tought to me and I stuggle reviewing one.  This goes for reading all the API reference sites/pages  (ArcGIS for Android, ArcGIS for Silverlight/Windows phone etc). 

How about a basic class (offered at the developers summit or the user conference) that would cover something like reading and getting the most out of a API reference site/page.

While we don't offer training focused specifically on working with an API Reference, our instructor-led and web training courses for the ArcGIS APIs include the API Reference Help in course exercise steps, so there is opportunity for hands-on practice.
