Hi,
with SP1 for Dekstop 10.1 the new World Geocoding Service from ArcGIS Online is referenced as default Locator.
But how to use it? When I try to use it to Batch Geocode a table I only get a Message saying 'ArcGIS Online Subsription is....'
Well, I have an Online Subscription and I'm loged in. What do I have to do beside connect to AGOL in the sign-in dialog?
BTW: When I add the World Locator via a connect to the ArcGIS Server (geocode.arcgis.com) and connection with my Subscription Account I can batch geocode.

Regards, Joerg

- The default World Geocoding Service (ArcGIS Online) has to be used only when geocoding single address using the geocoding toolbar or the Find tool.

- For batch geocoding:
1. In ArcCatalog -> GIS Servers -> Add ArcGIS Server.
2. Choose 'Use GIS Services'. Click Next.
3. Server URL: 'http://geocode.arcgis.com/arcgis/services
Authentication information:
User Name: your arcgis online username
Password: your arcgis online password
4. Click Finish.
5. Add the address table to ArcMap -> Right-click on it in th etable of contents -> Geocode Addresses.
6. Add the 'world' geocoding service from the 'arcgis on geocode.arcgis.com' server.
7. Click OK to geocode the addresses.
