Using model builder to iterate rasters and convert to polygon

I am looking for some help with using model builder to iterate through raster files.  The goal is to convert to polygon and separate land cover values out of each polygon and merge into one polygon shapefile.  I am working through each step in model builder and I can not get past the iterate rasters and the convert to polygon portions of the model.  I keep getting an error and can not identify how to solve.  The model and error are below:

model builder, error, iterate

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I do not have much experience with model builder or programming.  Trying to fumble my way through by breaking down the individual parts of what I want to do.

Thanks.

do you have spaces in the source or destination paths?

No I do not.

hard to tell since %Name %.shp looks from afar to have a space in it... worth a check, since that is the error

It does look like there is a space, but I verified that there is no error.

The model fails at the Raster to Polygon portion of the process, and it is immediate.  Automatically throws the syntax errors.

some examples on that error https://community.esri.com/message/521086

spaces or special characters like anything Unicode or on a different codepage or things like dashes, periods etc etc

Good luck
