Hello Everyone,

We have a topology that has a cluster tolerance of .001. The feature classes that are involved in the feature class however have a XY Resolution of .0005. Should the cluster tolerance of the topology reflect the XY Resolution of the participating feature classes?

We are experiencing an issue where we correct errors in the topology. We then delete all of the features in one of the participating feature classes and append a more recent version of them (from another source.) When we run the topology validation, the same errors we corrected previously, are appearing again. This has become extremely frustrating and time consuming. I have noticed that most of these recurring errors are occurring where there are two vertices extremely close to one another.

If anyone has any insight as to the relationship of the cluster tolerance and participating feature classes XY Resolution, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Shaun
