Mosaic dataset doesn't display when exporting layout to .jpg

Hello,

I've produced a map with a mosaic dataset of aerial images.

The problem is now I've tried to convert it to a .jpg to print is that instead of displaying the aerial images I get a kind of checked black and white pattern where the imagery should be.

Any idea whats wrong?

The checkerboard appears usually when you have either not generated overviews or lost access to the overviews or source rasters.  What does it look like in ArcMap when you look at the raster prior to exporting?

It looks fine in ArcMap. That's why I wasn't sure why it wasn't working. I set it to generate overviews in the Mosaic Dataset. I'll generate them again and see what happens. Thanks for your help.

I forgot to say when I zoom right in it shows the checkerboard show however it displays fine when zoomed out.
