Is there a way to edit picture attachments in a file geodatabase?

I have photos that need to be rotated.  They came from a consultant and some of the pictures are rotated 180 degrees.  Is there anyway to edit the actual picture attachment?

I don't believe that ArcGIS has this functionality to rotate the image in the feature class's attachment. The attached images are stored inside the geodatabse in Blob format. The current workflow is to first export them into a folder. Then rotate them with a third party software, and add them back to the attachment.

There is an enhancement request for this though:

[#NIM095638 Provide a function in Attachment Manager to rotate the image in the feature class' attachment ]
