Interoperability Extension Error: "NULL pointer check failed"

I'm using the Interoperability Extension 'quick import' to subset and convert an OpenStreetMap .xml file. I setup the conversion parameters and ran the tool, about two hours into the process an error occurred:

NULL pointer check failed.   File: geodbfeatureclass.cpp   Line #: 1010

Some features (all points) were converted but not the remainder. I've attached the complete log file. Running ArcGIS 10.3.1 on Windows Server 2008 r2.

Anyone have any ideas why the process is failing? Unfortunately, I have no other way to convert the data right now.

Cheers,

Greg

A bit late, but I am running in to the same error on FME Desktop 2015.1, although it seems to come from the ArcGIS API. Did you ever find a solution to this?

Hi, please log a support call.  If its Esri code we'll know, or work with Safe if not.

It turned out I was not implementing the FMEobjects API properly
