Has anyone else ran into the situation where installing GDBT for ArcGIS 10 into the non-default directory causes for no errors during installation but the GDBT tab never shows up in ArcCatalog?

I am running XP SP3, ArcInfo license level, and I am attempting to install GDBT into "C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\GDBT" instead of the default location "C:\Program Files\GDBT".

Yes I have experienced the same thing (Windows Server 2008 R2, ArcGIS 10 SP1), and it appears there are a few other threads reporting the same problem.

I have also experienced the GDBT not displaying when installed in a non-default location. After uninstalling from Add/remove programs and installing in the default location I didn't have any problems with the GDBT tab displaying in ArcCatalog.

Same problem and solution. In fact, you can't even change the name of the default folder, but must leave it as GDBT.
