I am attempting to connect an Access front end to a existing SQL Server table housed in a SDE Geodatabase. Can someone please point me to a source on how to accomplish this task? Thank you!!!
Are you using Microsoft Access 2010? If so, take a look at the information under 'Link to SQL Server Data' within the following link.
A few things you should consider when dealing with a SDE table/feature class. If the data is registered as versioned, the edits will be stored in the delta (A & D) tables. In this case, it would be best to create a versioned view and access this view to view the edits.
Or, you can perform a compress of the geodatabase. This will move the edits from the delta tables to the base table.
