Bulk insert in versioned table view taking long time to run

Dear All,

I am having a version ArcSDE(10.1) Object Class in SQL Server 2008 R2 production database.
I am trying for bulk insert in version table view using SQL in back-end. It's taking too much

time to insert 4 lacs records.

Please suggest / share valuable inputs & experience from possibilities and especially

performance point of view.

First, make sure that your geodatabase is tuned (perform reconcile/post/compress operations)

then try again. and check if there is performance enhancement.

"Bulk insert" and "versioned table view" are inherently incompatible.
Please explain exactly what you are trying to accomplish and exactly
how you are trying to accomplish it.
