This is my first time posting on the ESRI forums. I've been trying to figure out a simple way to label street address blocks (addresses 1-99, 100-199, 200-299, etc.) in 9.3. One suggestion I had was to use the street centerline data, which includes "right" and "left" address numbers on each feature, to create a field that sort of combined the two so the label would read "Main Street 200-299." This is not quite what I was hoping for, any ideas?
The purpose for this data is for navigation of our Fire Department. So if they get a call at 500 A Street, they can see on the map the area where "500" is located instead of wasting time looking in the wrong location on the road.
