Compress Archive

Trim Archive History GP Tool offers only "Delete" as the Trim Mode.  I would like to see a "Compress" option added to this tool, OR a separate tool created.

The "Compress" archive tool would function like this:

1. User Adds archived table or feature class to the tool as the Input Table parameter
2. User Chooses "Compress" Trim Mode (if adding functionality to existing Trim Archive History tool)
3. User Chooses a Compress Before Date (records newer than this date are not affected by the tool)
4. User Chooses a Compress Archive Into selection:
   1. Days
   2. Weeks
   3. Months
   4. Quarters
   5. Years
5. User Clicks Run to execute the tool.
   1. The tool selects the records with GDB_TO_DATE < Compress Before Date
   2. Time Spans are derived using:
      1. The Compress Archive Into parameter selection
      2. The table's Archive Date
      3. The Compress Before Date parameter value
         e.g. Compress Archive Into: Years
         Archive Date: 7/4/2023
         Compress Before Date: 9/1/2025
         Resulting Time Spans: 2023 (7/4 - 12/31), 2024 (1/1 - 12/31), 2025 (1/1 - 9/1)
   3. For Each Time Span:
      1. IF Multiple Rows Exist (i.e. Edits) for a Single Object
      2. The Newest is Retained and Updated with the Oldest's GDB_FROM_DATE
      3. ALL Older Rows are Deleted
