Having an issue with the filter on a Serial Chart.

My table has data for April 1, 2020 in it.  I set a filter on the field Open Date is Last Month and no data returns.  If I set the filter to Last Quarter the April 2020 data shows.  Is Last Month looking 30 days back from today or is it truly looking back at last calendar month from today?

To quickly answer your question, 'Last Month' is defined as:

Month—A month is defined according to the Gregorian calendar. Each month starts at 12:00:00 a.m. (local time) on the first day of the month and continues until 11:59:59 p.m. (local time) on the last day of the month.

Which means Dashboard is filtering from the 1st to the 1st of the previous month. If you had data for April (like you do in the 'last quarter' screenshot, you would have seen data in your charts yesterday (last month), but you would see 'No Data' today because it is June and last month is now May.
