After doing some digging, we have solved the S Strikethrough Symbol mystery.

The S strikethrough icon signifies that the idea message has no additional text in it besides the status change information. Essentially, the symbol appears when somebody has changed the status of an idea, but they have not left any notes or additional text in the status change.

I hope this answers your question and as always, I'm happy to help any further!
