The value: Whether due to a career change, schooling status, or other circumstance that necessitates switching from one email address to another, you’ll want to make sure the email associated with your Esri Community account stays up to date. Old email information can result in no longer receiving notifications of new activity on your subscriptions. It can also complicate efforts by Esri team members to get in touch regarding your account or to follow up directly about posts you’ve published.
How to do it: Changing an account’s email address requires assistance from Esri Community Admins. To do this, email esricommunity@esri.com and simply request help getting your email address updated. Please include a link to your Esri Community account profile, the old email address, and the new email address.
Keep in mind: When an account’s email address is updated, the Esri Community system automatically sends a message to that address prompting a verification of the account. The Esri Community team will take care of this step for you during the update process and that message can be ignored.
