Hi all,

I have an open ticket with Support regarding this, but wanted to throw it out here to see if anyone else already found a solution to it.

The situation is that I have a Series Map that has a tab that is a Tour Map. I was wondering if there is a URL parameter that will allow me to open a specific point in the Tour Map in the Series map. So the Series Map comes up, opens the tab with the Tour Map, and Tour Map goes to a specific point.

I was thinking it would be something along the lines of http://encinitas.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapSeries/index.html?appid=abcb1e41a88e41f7b87aab875d988179&en... , but it is only taking me to the tab with the Tour Map.

Hopefully someone else has figured this out!

Thanks,

Kevin

Yeah, there's no way to make a URL that opens up the Story Map Series, goes to a particular tab in the Series, and then goes to a particular place in a Story Map Tour that is embedded in that tab.

You can of course embed a Story Map Tour in a tab in a Story Map Series so that it displays a particular place in that tour, using this URL (which includes &embed to make it headless like it is in your embed already)
https://encinitas.maps.arcgis.com/apps/MapTour/index.html?appid=63fc926eea204922905e567b3b60d7a5&emb...

The Story Map Series URL doesn't accept (and therefore ignores) the &index parameter you have added at the end of what you posted above.
