One user of a story map receiving error "The application is not configured yet" - what's going on?

The City of Boston created this map tour: http://bit.ly/1nSnJPT

One user reported that they receive an error message: "Welcome to the Map Tour web application. The applicaton is not configured yet." No other users have reported this, everyone else seems to be able to access it fine. What could be causing this?

I wonder if something about the data source (basemap or other) has been changed, possibly even just a field was dropped or altered, that has caused an issue.  Have the user open it in a different browser (FireFox, Chrome, etc..) and see if that offers relief.

Thanks for the suggestion - the behavior occurs across all browsers, though.

The user could also try to enter other storymaps to see if it is a particular or a general issue. E.g., a few weeks we could not open any storymaps until we changed some settings of our firewall.

This false error typically happen on slow network when one specific server request timeout.

If some user can load and some can't it's definitely a network issue.

We are working on improving storymaps loading time...

Thanks, Gregory, this might be a cause, although the users who can successfully open the app are also on the same network. Maybe there is something specific on this user's machine that is causing a timeout. Thanks for the suggestion.

Unfortunately the user can open all of the other Map Tours that are shared with them - it seems specific to this app.
