legend in Cascading Story Maps

A legend showing in Edit mode w Interaction Enabled is not showing up in Display, what is the process to make it visible?

Hi Andrew,

Sorry, that layer list is just for configuring your visible layers; it's not meant to be a legend.

We're considering adding a configuring option to show a legend in a future release. I'd recommend taking a screenshot of the legend in the arcgis.com map viewer (or creating your own graphic) and insert that image in your narrative panel.

Have there been any updates on this issue? I would greatly appreciate having an option to show legends on my cascade story map.

Hi Gideon -- There isn't a way to show the legend in Cascade right now, but there is advice on explaining your maps in this article: Story + Maps: Part 2  (see the "Be legendary" part in the More Tips section)
