Hello,

I am struggling with a projection issue in Arcpad 10.22.  In ArcMap I created a shapefile layer of points by digitizing.  I then opened arcpad and in a new map added the point layer rather than use ArcPad data Manager.  View the two attached screen captures and you can see the huge discrepancy in the Lat/Longs from ArcMap to ArcPad in the Status Bar.  Can’t figure why Arcpad shows 377,683+ degrees North when ArcMap correctly shows 86+ degrees South.  Am using WGS 1984 Antarctic Polar Stereographic projection.  Thanks in advance for any insights

John

The steps you describe sound correct (creating in ArcMap, add to a new map in ArcPad, they should appear the same), so i wonder if the projection that your expecting is in fact being used in ArcPad. To check:

1. Select the layer in the Table of Contents

2. Choose Map Properties

3. Go to the projection tab

Do you see the expected projection listed in the Projection page?
