Is ArcObjects SDK 10.8 for .NET supported on Windows 10 home edition?

Dear All

I want to buy ArcGIS Destop 10.8 and further download ArcObjects SDK 10.8 for .NET so that I can develop an Addin using vb.net. I have Windows 10 home edition installed in my computer. ESRI support website says that only Windows 10 Pro and Enterprise support ArcObjects SDK 10.8 for .NET. Is it sure that ArcObjects SDK will not work on Windows 10 home edition. Did anyone tried it?

Thanks

ArcGIS Desktop and ArcObjects SDK requirements aren't necessarily the same.  Esri's ArcObjects SDK 10.8 system requirements—System Requirements | Documentation does not list Windows 10 Home edition as a supported platform.  Windows 10 Home edition was a supported platform through 10.4 but support was dropped starting in 10.5.  I am not saying it won't work, just that the configuration won't be supported by Esri if the user runs into issues.

It does not officially support, but I think it should work.

I develop and maintain an addin developed in ArcGIS 10.6 and on Windows home edition. I have no issues with development and deployment. The only limitation I see is which version of visual studio you must use, in my case visual studio 2017.
