Disabled Create Database Connection button in Add Data dialog box

When you click on the Add Data button on the AxToolbar in our app, you get the ArcObjects' Add Data dialog box.   If you click on the Geodatabases option on the left, the Create Database Connection button is disabled.  Anyone have any ideas why it'd be disabled?

I have the same problem using ArcObjects 9.3.1. I was just wondering if you had solved this issue....
