Hello all,

is there a simple way to take JPGs with GPS metadata and convert them to georeferenced TIFF files? I've looked into doing this and have so far come up short. When I bring them into an online EXIF editor, it does display accurate GPS information.

One of the image files is attached.

Thanks

Check out the Copy Raster tool in ArcGIS Pro. You should be able to export your JPG as a GeoTiff using the tool.

I am not sure what you are trying to do. Are you wanting to truly georeference this image onto a map (meaning that the image will be superimposed onto the map surface and stretched and skewed to make it fit on the ground)? Or are you just wanting your point location (the GPS lat/long) to remain the same but have the image be a TIF instead of a JPG?
