No Way for Dispatchers to Assign Jobs From Their phone?

The new workforce has no way for dispatchers to use their phone to assign jobs to workers. This is essential because my dispatchers are out in the field for most of the week. 

The old workforce didn't allow this either, however, the feature service allowed us to enter a worker ID in collector. The new feature service does not let you edit the worker id field in collector. 

Any suggestions/workarounds?

you can connect the Workforce feature service to Survey123 and then create new jobs and assign them to employees on the go. We have been using this method for a long time in Classic and now also in the new app
