Hi All,

ArcGIS enterprise version: 10.9.1 & ArcGIS Pro V 3.0

We are using ArcGIS Workflow Manager Server (service-driven). We have created simple workflow diagram using "Create Version"(Public) & "Open Pro Project Items" (configured "myMap" as Map & Repoint Version).

In Aprx file created a map with the name "myMap" and added feature service from portal. Initially data source version is "sde.DEFAULT"

Created a job(Ex: Job_1) in WFM.
When we execute the job in ArcGIS Pro, able to open "myMap" with the child version(Ex:Job_1) we did some editing's and saved Aprx file.

Created an another job(Ex: Job_2) in WFM.
When we execute the job in ArcGIS Pro, able to open "myMap" but the feature service is still pointed to the child version i.e. "Job_1". even though we are executing the Job_2.

Is this the expected behavior? or bug?

Noticed behavior:
While opening the map, if the data source is pointed to "sde.DEFAULT" version, working fine.
While opening the map, if the data source is pointed to another child version, not able to change to the current job version.

Expected behavior.
It should change the data source version according the job version.

Appreciate any help on this. Thanks.

Regards,

Sirish

Hi @sirishb

Quick question. Did you happen to notice this using ArcGIS Pro 2.9? 10.9.1 and 2.9 are companion releases so I'm curious if it occurred there as well.

This one would be good to work with Tech Support on. In general, you shouldn't see this behavior, but it would be good to understand the details of your workflow and how those might contribute to what you are seeing. They can help work through those with you.

@JFarmer ...currently we are in the process of upgrade from 10.9.1 to 11. We will test in 11 with Pro 3.0 and will contact Tech support, if the behavior is same as 10.9.1. Thanks.
