Pop-ups and Coordinate Widget in WAB Dev Edition 1.2

I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this issue with WAB 1.2 developer edition...

It seems if I have pop-ups for layers in a web map and create a second output coordinate system in the coordinate widget (ex: 4326 for WGS84), my pop-ups in the web map no longer work.  If I remove/disable the coordinate widget, then the pop-ups work again.

I have not downloaded the app and deployed it, but this behavior exists if I launch the app from WAB developer edition.

   This is a known FEATURE of the coordinate widget and is explained in this thread:

The workaround is provided in that thread.
