When I go to the web app builder to create an app, I can't add widgets or do anything because the OK and Cancel buttons of any pop up window in the appbuilder don't work.

Michael Souffront,

Can you please give us more information to help you out better? What version are you working with? AGOL, Portal or Developer?

Try clearing your browser cache.

Does this happen in all browsers or just a few?

Everything seems to be working just fine on my end for the OK and Cancel buttons. Have you tried to clear your browser cache? This might be a browser problem. I am using Firefox and Chrome and no problems here.

It is now working, I didn't do anything today though.

I did clear my cache and restarted my computer last week and that didn't work then.

Anyway, thanks for your responses.

Same issue as Michael.

WAB 1.0 Dev Edition freshly installed from Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers  (today)

The locale is French. Cache cleared. Server stopped/started after the first time the issue happened, just in case.

All starts fine until the welcome page. I hit "create" and fill in the fields. Neither OK nor Cancel do cause any action, apart of the whole dialog box getting surrounded by a blue rim. The dialog box can be closed with the cross icon in the top right corner. I observe the same behaviour in the "import" dialog box : OK and Cancel have no effect whatsoever.

NOTE : issue seems to be Chrome only.

Matt,

I don't have a solution for you I just want to clarify for other users.

  1. What version of chrome are you using?
  2. Does it work in Firefox or IE?
    • If so What versions are you using.

exactly the same issue as Matt,

Chrome version : 41.0.2272.89 m

No issues in Firefox. So I have switched to Firefox. However I would like to know the reason behind it.

Firefox version:  36.0.1
