Does anyone know how to use the dynamic legend widget to display a dot density map?  The 3.0 dynamic legend I am using does not display the dot density legend. I would greatly appreciate any help with this. Thanks

Mehrshad,

The dynamic Legend will draw anything supported by the REST End Point, so if the legend is not drawing a legend for the dot density than it is not supported by REST.

Robert,

Thank you for your response. Our rest service supports and shows all other legends in services I have created; but not this particular service. Is there a particular protocol the rest service is supposed to follow in order to display the dot density legend? Again, thanks for your help.

Mehrshad,

There is nothing on your part that you can or need to do it is the fact that the ArcGIS Server REST team needs to support dot density legends.

Hi,

Are you still looking for dot density Renderer  ?

We have a custom flex library for dot density renderer at client side; it work as layer so, you can view it directly on ArcGIS map viewer.
