* Links that are not associated with a field now work.
* Ability to disable the relates tab in the fixed widget is now configurable.

Robert,

For eSearch Widget 2.5.1.7f, is it possible to set the Buffer fill as hollow in Graphical Search?

Lixin,

This is now part of version 3.0.2.

Version 3.0.2 - 8/3/2012

*  Added the ability to have a grid hyperlink icon instead of only hyper  link text. This is achieved through the new hyperlinkgridicon attribute  of a field element.
* Added a new option to the graphical search page  that allow you to include the text search options to the graphical  search if the search layer dropdown is the same on both pages.
* The buffer graphics have a new popup GUI for adjusting their graphics symbology.
*  The userlist attribute have a new ability, when you add the text "all"  to the comma separated userlist and the user chooses this value, then  all the values of the userlist will be selected when the query is  executed.
* All possible items in code have been migrated from mx to  spark (probably doesn't mean much to you as the end user, but for me as  the developer, it allowed to enhancement to be accomplished).

Robert,

I have some users who would like to use the FixedDataGrid. I implemented it using your documentation and it works. Now they are wondering if there is a way to hide the FixedDataGrid when the eSearch widget is not initialized.

I looked through your documentation and I could have missed it but I did not see where this is possible or if it is possible. I am sure someone has asked this before but some of those forum posts are 16 pages or more long.

Any help you could provide would be appreciated.

Ken,

that ability was added in 3.0.1

Robert,

What puzzle me is that I had the same data (excat mapserver) working on my Flex 2.5) version. Thus, that make me believe the data is not the problem right? I have the Flex 2.5 and the Flex 3.0 versions of the same data running in my PC and only the Flex 3.0 is giving me the not rectangular datagrid table. Any ideas? Is there any tag in your new releases 3.01 or 3.03 that allows to turn the resize the datagrid off?

Thanks so much

JORGE,

The new 3.0.2 and 3.0.3 uses the new Spark Datagrid and it is worth a shot trying that version. The main difference between 2.5 and 3.0 versions of the viewer is that the 3.0 viewer uses the Adobe Fle SDK 4.6 where the 2.5 used the 4.1 SDK.

Robert. I updated to 3.04 and the non-rectangular problem I had was fixed. I love the autohide option that respond to the cursor focus. The only issue I would like to correct if possible is that the SearResults Table title is being covered by the Coordinates (not big dealbut will be nice if I could move the dynamic coordinates or the minimized table to the right. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the wonderfull jod you do.

Jorge,

Just change the left attribute on the coordinate widget then, as the tabs in my widget are not configurable as far as position.

Robert, I did update to 3.0.5, big thank you to the widget.
Is there a chance that when you open the widget automatically performs search, for example the URL search.
I work with the uncompiled version.

Once again Thank you for your excellent work!

Hey Robert-

I know that version 3.0.4 fixed some of the datagrid hovering issues, but I am still running into one problem. When I launch the viewer and click on a layer that has a popup associated with it, the fixed datagrid (with no results) will popup from the bottom as if I preformed a query using the eSearch. Once I get the datagrid to hide, I then can click on the feature again with the popup and the datagrid will stay hidden. However, if I then  clicked on a feature in a different layer with an associated popup, the datagrid will appear again until i hide it. This happens with all layers with popups. Like I said, this only happens the first time I click a feature. Once i hide the datagrid, clicking features in that layer will not cause the datagrid to open. I am using version 3.0.5. Let me know if you have any thoughts.

Thanks,

Matt

Matt,

So what is the behavior you are expecting?

Hi Robert,

I was thinking that by just clicking on a feature to get a popup that the eSearch datagrid should not open, epically since I am not preforming a query and since the layer that the feature is apart of is not associated with the eSearch Widget in any way. It is also concerning that this happens only the first time I click a feature. Clicks thereafter will not open the datagrid (this in my mind is the expected behavior). Why would the datagrid open when all I am doing is clicking on a feature in the map, not preforming a query? I have attached a couple of screen shots showing this behavior. The first is when I click on a polygon feature to open a popup (empty datagrid appears). The second is when I hide the datagrid and click on the feature again (no datagrid appears). If I am confusing you, just let me know. Thanks for the help.
