Seem to be not working with our own vector tile package/layer?

We have some vtpk published as tile layer on our organization.

When browsing 'my styles' we always have a error 'can't load sprites'.

Could you confirm this application is not only designed for AGOL basemap tile layer?

Thierry BOCH‌ I was able to load the layer you shared with me this morning. There is a screenshot below, you can unshare the layer with me now that we have resolved this. Thanks for your patience.

The editor should handle non AGOL basemap layers. However we have noticed some issues surrounding sprites in some non AGOL basemap styles which we are working to resolve.

I'll update you when we have these fixes deployed. Until then can you share your style publicly? If you can we can be sure that we are actually fixing the root cause of your issue and not something else.

Thanks for your answer.

Not possible to share it publicly but if you send me your AGOL Id i will be able to share it through a group.

Is it possible?

Thierry BOCH‌ Could you try to load your basemap again? We made some updates last week that might have resolved this issue.

Hi

Yes it seems to work. There’s only one tilelayer left with issue. For others, it’s ok.

I have to look deeply into the one with issue in order to find if it comes from the style (it works in the map viewer)

Thanks a lot for the fix.

Regards

Thierry

Thierry BOCH‌ Another option would be to create a group and invite me (username: "patrickarlt7104") so I can take a look if you cannot make the item public. That way I can load it up in the editor and take a look.

Sorry for delay, i was out of the office.

I shared the item through a group. You should have received an invitation. Let me know if you have access to it.

Thierry BOCH‌ Good news! I was able to replicate and fix this this morning. I'm going to document the bug and we should be able to release the patch this week.

I would however like to follow up with you via email about how this service was created since it looks like the bug was caused by some invalid JSON in the items style. In this case it looks like the map viewer falls back to the default style from the service but the editor did not.

Could you send me and email at parlt@esri.com so I can follow up with you?
