Hi,

I am trying to apply the Electric Asset Package from the Electric Data Management for ArcGIS Enterprise.

Every time I try to use the D_rename table to translate to non-English language, it fails with error :

ERROR 002123: No summary attributes were found matching input network attribute type.
Failed to execute (SetSubnetworkDefinition).

What I have done so far :

- upgrade Asset Package to the proper version (untools version 2.9.0, but it was the same with 2.8.2) -> OK

- Stage utility Network in a file geodatabase or a mobile geodatabase -> OK

- Apply Asset Package with several tests:

-- rename using French, also tried with German, Chinese --> Error

-- add another field to D_rename and copy the values of field "current name" (in English) -> OK

-- truncate French values to =< 32 characters -> Error

-- Remove all special characters (ie. é,â,', etc...) -> Error

A bug (https://support.esri.com/fr/bugs/nimbus/QlVHLTAwMDE0MzYyMg==) was referencing this specific error, but it has now change and says it is due to value length.

Has anyone succeeded in using this functionality ?

Regards

There is also a second bug in untools.

Here is a RC you can test with https://anaconda.org/solutionsdev/untools/files

  1. Open a python command prompt
  2. conda install -c solutionsdev/label/pro2.9 untools

untools 2.9.1 is tentatively scheduled for a public release in December.

Attached is an updated rename table with length issues resolved.  We have identified a bug with terminal configuration and working on a fix.  I will post here when a fix is available.

Thank you, Mike,

After removing the D_rename table from my asset package et copying the new one, it still fails with the same error.

I tried both a file geodatabase (.gdb) et a mobile (.geodatabase)

What was the workaround in your D_rename table ?

Below is the log file:

Hi @PaulLeBlanc1 . I am having the same issue. Below is the error message. I'm trying to apply the asset package to my test enterprise DB at version 5 of the UN. I see my asset package was 2.7 should I download the newest one for Electric and do you think that will solve my issue? I just upgraded to Pro to 2.9.1. I have run this asset package on a fgdb and it worked. Thanks for any help.

Hi Wendy,

Can you retry after upgrading untools to 2.9.1 ? This bug was resolved there.

Hi @PaulLeBlanc1 , I tried running it with UNtools 2.9.1 but still get the same error (see below). I did not have the transmission tier checked or add data. Also, I am running the 2.7 asset package schema should that matter? I was trying not to have to go through downloading the newest one and configuring (e. g. reproject) the asset package. Any further thoughts? Thanks, Wendy

Even though you are getting the same error message, this appears to be a separate bug. The first fix was specific to using the D_Rename table, which you are not using here.

M:\PhysicalPlant\ESRI_Utility_Network\Electric\ElectricDataManagementForArcGISEnterpriseV1_WLB\AP_Workspace3

Can you zip that up and send it to me? I'll send you a direct message.
