Survey123 pages not working properly

I am making a survey in Survey123 and since it's long-ish, I have decided to incorporate pages. This is not working as intended. All I wanted was two pages but I am getting three.

In my web designer, this is what I see:

Clearly, it should be two pages. But when I open the survey on its own, this is the first thing I see:

It gives me an extra page with zero content. It's not a deal breaker but pretty weird behavior... Has anyone else seen this? This happens in the field app (android) as well as the web browser (I am using Chrome).

Hi Adrian,

This is caused by splitting the survey description into a dedicated page in 3.9 release, which is a by-design behavior currently. We had an internal issue to add an additional page number indicator on the Design page so it can be consistent with the number in the web app, which will be addressed in the future release.

Ok, so there is no "fix" for this? This is just how it will be?

Hi Andrian,

No, this would be addressed with a better design in the future release(not in the coming 3.10 unfortunately) as a to-do list for us.

I'm currently having this problem. However, it is actually giving me "two" page 1s (which just has welcoming notes).

Is there a work around?
